Seit vielen Jahren beteiligt sich das Gutenberg Gymnasium an der Biotoppflege des Großen Mainzer Sands. Nur durch den Einsatz vieler freiwillig Helfenden kann die Flugdünenlandschaft von unerwünschter Vegetation freigehalten und die besondere Lebensgemeischaft erhalten werden. In diesem Jahr haben die Schülerinnen und Schüler der 6a Hand angelegt und sich mit großem Eifer für den Erhalt dieses einmaligen Lebensraums engagiert. Die Rheinische Naturforschende Gesellschaft organisiert den Arbeitseinsatz und betreut die teilnehmenden Gruppen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön!
